What:
The second annual Westie Day of Hope is centered around a head-shaving event to show support for cancer patients and raise money for Camp Rising Sun.
The event will also feature booths from school clubs and organizations, arts and crafts, music, food, and much more.
When:
Sunday, May 3 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
Where:
The West Haven High School courtyard.
Shavees:
To register as a shavee, please send your name and contact information to westiedayofhope@whschools.org. Each shavee is asked to donate or raise at least $25 — online donations can be made using the link below.
History:
In the past three years, West Haven schools have raised almost $85,000 to fight childhood cancer. This year’s Day of Hope will help ensure that children with cancer can continue to attend Camp Rising Sun free of charge.
