Camp Rising Sun is open to any child aged 5-17 who has had a diagnosis of cancer, whether they are still in treatment or in remission. Campers participate with the approval of their doctors.
Camp Rising Sun is open to any child aged 5-17 who has had a diagnosis of cancer, whether they are still in treatment or in remission. Campers participate with the approval of their doctors.
Camp Rising Sun takes place at the YMCA’s Camp Jewell, located in Colebrook, Connecticut. To assist campers living far from Colebrook, Camp Rising Sun offers bus transportation to camp from Rhode Island and Southeastern Connecticut for both Mini-Camp and Camp Week in 2024.
Mini-Camp Weekend will be April 5 & 6, 2024 — registration will open sometime in late December / early January.
Camp Week will be August 18-23, 2024 — get excited!
