Camp Rising Sun offers several programs throughout the year:

Camp Week

Dates: August 22-27 2010
Cost: Free of Charge. Donations that keep the camp free to campers come from organizations, businesses and individuals
Location: Camp Jewell YMCA in Colebrook, CT
Age of Campers: 5 to 17 years old.

Camp Rising Sun's Mini-Camp Weekend is a fun overnight camping experience for new and returning campers. It is an introduction to camp for new campers and a reunion for returning Camp Rising Sun family.

At Mini-Camp Weekend our time is spent playing games, doing arts and crafts, exploring the great outdoors at Camp Jewell YMCA, making new friends and enjoying the old. We will be sleeping in heated cabins with carpeting and lounge areas. All meals are provided.

Three nurses and a pediatric oncologist will be on the premises. Bring your meds with you.

Camp Rising Sun is held at Camp Jewell YMCA in Colebrook, Connecticut.
