When is Mini-Camp Weekend?

Mini-Camp Weekend will be April 6 & 7, 2024!  And this year, we welcome our Sib Side campers to join us!

When should I drop my camper off?

Drop-off for all campers starts at 9:00 am on Saturday.

When do I pick my camper up?

Campers can be picked up from the Dining Hall starting at 10:30 am on Sunday.

What should I pack for my camper?

Our Mini-Camp Weekend schedule is largely weather-dependent.  If there’s still snow on the ground at Camp Jewell, we will take advantage and go sledding, tubing, or cross-country skiing.  Campers will want to pack snow gear so they can participate.

The cabins are heated, but campers will be outside when moving between activities, so please make sure they are dressed warmly.  Northern Connecticut is always a bit colder than areas further south.

That said, here’s a list of suggestions:

• Bedding (sheets and blankets or a sleeping bag)
• Pillow
• Toiletries (soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, etc.)
• Towels
• Change of warm clothes
• Flashlight
• Winter coat, boots, and snow pants
• Hat, gloves, and scarf
• Indoor shoes or slippers
• Extra pair of outdoor footwear
• Warm pajamas or sweats
